The sights, sounds, and scents of the holiday season are timeless and add to the memories you keep with you all year long. Spend time with loved ones and reach within while giving back.
Read our list of some of the best scents we look forward to over the holidays.
Hot Chocolate
Few aromas do a better job of inviting you out of the cold than steaming, stovetop hot chocolate. Create memories of the holiday season by sharing a pot of hot chocolate with friends and family. We found some recipes to try that will actually get you excited for the cold weather.

Gingerbread
From gingerbread houses to gingerbread men, this is one of our favorite scents as it’s easily recognizable and associated with the holiday season. Warm iced gingerbread is always a welcome sight when returning from caroling or a family gift exchange. There’s a whole world out there of some amazing gingerbread houses that have been created.

Sugar Cookie
Whether you made them with your mom, grandma, or other family members, it’s all about the frosting. Sprinkles, gumdrops, or chocolate chips are a few things we remember decorating them with once they’ve cooled. Hold a cookie decorating contest at your next holiday party with friends competing for the best looking one.

Cranberry Orange
This scent is more regal and elegant but definitely invokes memories of holiday gatherings. You can create some sweet Cranberry Orange Sauce that can be added as a side dish to any meal. This also makes a great potpourri scent for any home.

Apple Cinnamon
One of the most popular scents, whether from a holiday candle or freshly baked dessert, is Apple Cinnamon. While it’s one that is used year round, we like it most during the winter months as it reminds us of wandering through orchards full of sweet apples.
Eggnog
People seem to either love it or hate it, but there’s no denying that it’s a tradition to drink some of this during winter holiday parties. We find that flavors such as pumpkin spice and orange make eggnog even more enjoyable. See what the talented Jamie Oliver has created for the best eggnog in the world.
Wassail
Hot wassail or cider stems from the Christmastide English drinking tradition that they believed would ensure a good apple harvest. There are plenty of easy recipes for making wassail and it can be easily made on the stove, chilled, and reheated later.
Forest Pine
Have you ever been outside among the trees when the sun is low and the air is cold? The stillness of the forest and smell of fresh pine is one of the most unique scents nature has to offer and it’s one we love. You can also bring your love for the outdoors inside with one of our new Juniper Scented Signature Candles.
