Chemicals will weaken the leather over time. Be patient. Its ruggedness will grow in character with you.
Don't be afraid of a scuff. Lick your finger. Rub it in. The oils from your skin shape the patina's look over time. So go ahead. Handle it!
Avoid leaving leather for extended periods of time in direct sunlight or extreme heat. We recommend Rustico's Custom Designed Leather Cleanerfor additional leather cleaning and conditioning.

This is my 4th product from Rustico and each purchase is better than the last
I have had mine for the past four years and use it daily for quick notes. The leather has worn beautifully over time. When people see it they always comment how nice it is.
This pocket notebook is just the right size to be handy. I can carry it in a shirt pocket or a pants pocket, so that means it is always readily available. The workmanship is great and the color is exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with my pocket notebook.
This little pocket notebook just arrived. This is my 3rd (all different sizes for different uses) notebook I’ve purchased from Rustico. It is the perfect size to throw in a purse, put in jeans pocket, or a backpack. I generally get saddle color leather but this time opted for dark brown. Both colors are great. I love I can jot down notes and reminders (I forget what I need or doing walking from one room to another sometimes) and have this dandy little notebook around.
I’ve read some other reviews stating the pages aren’t glued right or what have you. I say if you want a cheap notebook go buy a spiral one. As for me, I LOVE RUSTICO PRODUCTS!!!!!!

Beautiful finish, delivered very quickly even with customization, and very addressable. Overall I’m super happy with the purchase. Definitely recommend.
Only thing that could make it better would be maybe a loop for a small pen.
