The Firebox Ultra Cook Kit is a comprehensive system of nesting pans and plates that work together in a multitude of configurations to accomplish most any camp cooking project. Made of a sturdy thickness of hard anodized aluminum which is lightweight yet scratch resistant and long lasting. No Teflon means you’ll need to apply a seasoning as you would with Cast Iron cookware. Base kit Includes a pro quality sauté pan and the Deep Cowboy Plate, comes in an abrasion resistant 500 wt nylon case with paracord cinch closure that can be opened with one hand.

Firebox Frying Pan: Ultra Versatile, Lightweight, Durable & Can Be Seasoned! Yes, Just Like Cast Iron! I’ve been interested in alternatives to non-stick coatings and I love my cast iron cookware… well other than it’s too darn heavy. Hard anodized aluminum makes perfect sense, It conducts heat extremely well. It’s very abrasion resistant and its microstructure is perfect to accept a seasoning (see instructions below)!

Cowboy Plate: Made with the perfect micro structure to accept a seasoning if so desired and tolerate very high heat temperatures. Hard anodized inside and out so you can enjoy the cooking performance of aluminum with your food only being in contact with a scratch resistant ceramic layer.

Camp Plate: Made with the perfect micro structure to accept a seasoning if so desired and tolerate very high heat temperatures. Hard anodized inside and out so you can enjoy the cooking performance of aluminum with your food only being in contact with a scratch resistant ceramic layer.

Pizza Stone: Creates a scrumptious golden-brown crust when making pizza or making bread directly on the stone’s porous dry surface. It also acts as thermal mass between the pan layers which regulates the heat evenly throughout the Frypan. This prevents hotspots and allows a small flame to create the needed heat — without causing a burn spot.

Coal Rack: Raises your coals off the pan making the coals stay hot MUCH longer. Works great for baking in the Large Ultra Cook Kit and helps prevent heat from quickly being “sucked” out of your coals. Stores nicely nested with your Small or Large Ultra Cook Kit.

Cutting Board: With a natural look and texture from an eco-friendly, wood fiber composite, our custom Cutting Boards are durable, nonporous, knife friendly, dishwasher safe and are heat resistant up to 350° F / 176° C. You can use the surface as a trivet without leaving a blemish.

Long Pan/Pot Lifter: No more turning the pan to avoid burning the handle, our Firebox Frying Pan doesn’t have one. Rather than a heavy folding handle I designed a universal light weight handle/pan lifter that works with the pie pan (Deep Cowboy Plate) and sauté pan, not to mention your other pots, pans and stainless steel water bottles! Our Long Pan/Pot Lifter is included with the Firebox Frying Pan and the extra length is great for cooking over a wood fire. (Pan lifters may leave minor marks which do not affect performance.)

Frying Pan Case: This heavy duty case is made from Denier Heavy Duty material and includes a drawstring closure. Holds any combination of 4 items (Cowboy Plate, Camp Plate, Cutting Board and Pizza Stone) as well as either Frying Pans (Firebox or Pinnacle) which all nest easily for great packability.

BuzzyWaxx Original Seasoning: This product mixes two amazing oils (canola, grapeseed oil) with high smoke points and Beeswax to bond everything together. By doing so we make one amazing seasoning and maintenance method for your Hard Anodized Pans, cast iron and carbon steel!
